I am always proud to be a Rotarian especially when Hope Island Rotary sponsors large numbers of school children to learn to drive at the Holden Performance Driving School at Jacobs Well. A great program which I am sure will save many lives.
The DRIVESAFE Program is in partnership with the Rotary Club of Hope Island.
It is based on 24 students with a ratio of 3:1. All participants experience wet ABS brake and steer training and then experience a revolving turntable which stimulates loss of control.
Students learn how to avoid this, plus much more.
