Reconciliation Day is a public holiday in the Australian Capital Territory marking the start of National Reconciliation Week.
National Reconciliation Week (NRW) is celebrated across Australia each year between 27 May and 3 June and is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia
It is held on the first Monday after or on 27 May, the anniversary of the 1967 referendum.
