Mothers Day Classic Gold Coast

$25The Mother’s Day Classic is an annual fun run and walk raising funds and awareness for breast cancer research. Our aim is to deliver a fun, healthy and inspirational community event that brings the community together on Mother’s Day to support and remember those touched by breast cancer.
The event was established in 1998 by Women in Super, a national network of women who work in the superannuation and finance industries. Women in Super’s support of the nationwide event is demonstrated through a strong employee and volunteer engagement program facilitated throughout their networks.

DISTANCES 4km walk, 4km run, 8km walk, 8km run.
On the day timetable
6.00 am – Registration/ late entries open.
7.23 am – Memorial minute of silence.
7.25 am – Warm up 1 at start line.
7.30 am – 4km run starts.
7.40 am – Warm up 2 at start line.
7.45 am – 8km run starts.
7.50 am – Warm-up 3 at start line.
7.55 am – 8km walkers start.
8.20 am – Warm up 4 at start line.
8.30 am – 4km walkers start.

Survivor Wave:
A moment to honour and recognise a special group of people. Those touched by breast cancer – survivors, friends and family. A moment not to be missed – come one, come all. This experience will take place at the beginning of the walk. If you are a runner, please feel free to come down and share in this moment and provide your support.
Random Spot Prizes:
Our wonderful Mother’s Day Classic volunteer team will be handing out spot prizes throughout the morning.
