I have learnt that it is really easy to keep fit as there are numerous walks that you can participate in and raise money for worthy causes at the same time.
I love being part of the million Paws Walk as all the money that I raise goes to help my 4 legged friends.
Sometimes I do the walk at the Spit on the Gold Coast, or up at Mt Tambourine. It is always a great day and I meet some wonderful people who are there just like me to help the RSPCA.
This year I did the walk interstate and met some wonderful new dogs and their owners and helped raise funds for this wonderful cause.
Every year far too many animals are presented to the RSPCA as their owners can no longer keep them or they are unwanted presents.
I ask you all please be careful when you choose a pet as none of them want to end up with RSPCA.
I know that the RSPCA goes to a great effort to re-home these unfortunate animals, but if all animals were de sexed and care taken when choosing a pet the RSPCA would not have such a hard job.
