The Festival of Flowers is held every year in Toowoomba and besides being on a float I love to attend the exhibitions and to visit all the beautifully manicured gardens that are alive with colour. It is amazing how many varieties of different flowers there are.
I attended again this year, the parade was later in the day this year but was still excellent.
There were a large number of floats and once again the fragrance of the flowers was amazing.
I visited the gardens of the main street, they are also sensory gardens and together with the annual flowers it is a magnificent sight.
The whole town comes alive for the festival and you are also able to go on a conducted tour to visit the private gardens on display.
